Our Summer Camps

CANSail

CANSail is oriented for youth 11-16 in larger boats. Sailors develop skills and theory to sail independently and with confidence. DCYC offers CANSail 1-5 throughout the summer.

Optimist (Opti)

Opti is oriented for sailors turning 7 to 10 in 2026. Learn the fundamentals and gain confidence on the water in an age-appropriate and internationally loved boat (the optimist!)

Camp Hours

Most camps run M-F from 9-4.

Some weeks, we are offering Extended camps which run 9-5.

The extra hour in the afternoon was added after receiving feedback from parents and sailors, as it allows more time in the stronger afternoon winds and gives working parents more flexibility. Earlier pickup is not available for extended camps.

Our schedule grows throughout the year, so if you don't see a camp on a given week, check back later, or email us at registration@deepcovelts.com to let us know when you'd like to sail!

Many camps do fill up quickly, and a wait list is available. Registering for a wait list shows us where to allocate boats and will better your chances of getting a spot. We will contact you when your turn on the list has come up, where you will have 24 hours to respond.
