Our Programs

We have something to offer for everyone! Deep Cove Yacht Club Learn to Sail is a Sail Canada accredited sailing school with a fleet of RS Zest, RS Feva, Optimist and 420 sailboats.

Adult Program

Looking to try a new adventure on the water? Or maybe you want to join in on the fun the kids have, our adult programs cover beginner and intermediate sailing skills. We offer evening and weekend times which vary through the year. No experience required!

Junior Program

Summer Camps run weekly from 29 June - 21 August and allow sailors to explore sailing for the first time, or return and hone their skills on the water. These camps are structures through the CANSail levels, and provide lifelong skills.

Youth Sailboat Racing, a fun sport in North Vancouver which runs in the Spring Summer and Fall

Our 420 & Feva Race team focuses on race-specific skills to compete in local regattas in the spring and fall. We have introductory race sessions through the summer open to all sailors who have completed level 2!

Cancellation Policies

All cancellations must be submitted in writing or via email to registration@deepcovelts.com. Refund amount will vary depending on when the cancellation is received. Note there is an administration fee charged for cancellations or changes to a registration resulting in a partial refund (% applies to refund balance only).

Cancellations Up to 31 May: 90% refund, 10% admin fee

Cancellations From 1 June until 16 days prior to the course start: 75% refund, 25% admin fee

Cancellation received 15 or fewer days prior to the course start - No Refund

Financial Assistance

A few years ago, we set up a bursary fund to help financially disadvantaged children to participate in the summer kids' program. This program will continue in 2026. We can subsidize a portion, but not all, of the fees in the belief that each student should contribute something towards this very exciting summer experience.
